If you are wondering what glamping in East Tennessee looks like for the seasons, here are some pictures to check out from our farm. I’ve included some local sites to visit too.

Tennessee in the Spring

It can still be cool and our rains can be heavy but are usually short. Everything comes alive quickly here! Our covered kitchen and sitting areas provide shelter while still getting to enjoy beautiful glamping in east Tennessee. A couple of pictures on the farm in April/May.

A perfect Tennessee in the spring day might be, coffee in the setting area of your glamping spot while you watch the donkeys graze or play! Followed by a nice walk on the hiking trail and maybe a scheduled barnyard visit with the donkeys.

It is also a great time to visit a nearby waterfall in Grandview. Its a waterfall you can walk under! We often take coffee and lunch, sit behind it and just enjoy! When we’ve had spring rains is the best time to see this falls! Piney Falls

Tennessee in the Summer

It gets GREEN in the summer! Its beautiful!

Tennessee in the summer can be humid but that’s where our thick old growth forest helps you enjoy your summer Tennessee trip. An early morning hike with the donkeys followed by a trip to nearby Bald River falls and Tellico Plains makes for a very wonderful summer day in TN! Gee Creek falls is also a fantastic trip for summer for a heavy canopy short and sweet hike.

Something super cool to do on a hot TN summer day? Visit an underground cave system and underground lake! YES! We are a short drive from the Lost Sea!

Up for a longer day trip? The Chattanooga Aquarium is just an hour away.

A couple of pictures from July/Aug

Tennessee in the Fall

Tennessee has a shorter window for fall colors but it’s an amazing time to be glamping in East Tennessee! The weather has cooled, the trees put on a show here at the farm and in the neighboring national forest.

A relaxing fall day here might look like, an early morning fire with coffee enjoying the scenery. An afternoon hike with a donkey to fully immerse yourself in the color show.

All the waterfalls and national forest are going to be great to explore this time of year! Take advantage!

A must see in the fall, if you like wine, especially sweeter wines, is a trip to Tsali Notch! A beautiful muscadine vineyard just a short drive to Madisonville. It’s a beautiful vineyard. They offer more than wine. The Muscadine jelly is not to be missed either!

We have muscadine vines here on the farm for you to pick and enjoy also. Our varieties typically get ripe in Sept./Oct.
